Danyl was one of the original members of Kompact. With Kompact he performed musical theatre cabarets at Brighton ballrooms, Battersea Barge, and as part of Brighton Fringe at Bar broadway.
Danyl is now a vocal coach, creative director, and choreographer based in South Yorkshire. Once departing Kompact, he worked internationally on cruise ships as a singer/dancer and provide private function entertainment. He also worked as a vocalist and choreographer for a luxury hotel in Rhodes, Greece.
When returning to the UK, Danyl founded his own youth theatre company, South Yorkshire Performance Academy. SYPA is a fresh way of youth theatre, fusing the ideas of performance & promoting positive mental health in a practical environment. As an acting choreographer and creative director, production credits include “Cats”, “Hairspray”, “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie”, “Sister Act” and “Fame”. He has been recognised for his choreography by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association, where he has taught dance workshops for their regional galas. Not only that, but Danyl works as a private singing tutor and performance coach.
Danyl gained his degree from the University of Brighton and continues his training in vocal pedagogy. He shares his passion for contemporary musical theatre; the ideals that Kompact instilled in him. http://www.sypa.co.uk
